"Quel-que chose qui me tappais sur les nerfs sont les hommes qui levaient le coud puis me chantaient la pomme. Ca faissait dur. Et Chaque fois qu'ils m'approcahaient je devrais creuser la cervelle pour trouver un façon poli de leurs disais 'va-t'en!'"
I have almost completely moved the site, the only thing left is the Links page and that shouldn't take too long I hope!
All I have for you today is the above quote from my oral presentation today. Basically its a long list of idiomatic expressions that somehow form a thought. Anyway, there is absolutely no way I can possibly translate it and have it make sense...though maybe I'll try anyway...then Ill see if I can anglasize it a little (you can tell I don't have much to say)
Something that taped on my nerves were men that lifted their elbows then sung apples at me. That was hard. And everytime they approached me I had to creuse my crainium to find a polite way of saying "you go away!"
Now, for the sense
One thing that annoyed me were old male drunks who hit on me. That sucked. And every time they approached I had to rack my brains to come up with some polite way to say "get lost!"
Ok, well I leave this dramatic post with a pic of my grammer prof. Don't you all envy me?
(I wonder if I'll actually get comments for this one?)
