"are you now officially the big giant loser of your entire campus? "
Well I was online last night and talking to 2 f my friends, and one of them got the idea into his head that he was going to make me laugh. Now normally that wouldn't be a bad thing, but these were not normal circomstances. You see, the only place where I have access to the internet is via the computer room. And last night the computer room was pretty full, and quiet. So when I snort out stifled laughter, or let it all out in a giant "HA," people tended to look at me rather oddly. How fun.
Well that interview yesterday for monitrice wasn't too bad. I was all nervous and worked up so I went and sat in a classroom by myself for 10mins to try to slow my heart rate a bit beforehand. Somehow I managed to walk calmly and thoughtlessly to the interview room, and paste on a winning smile for my potential employer. I think it went alright...although I may have been too honest for my own good when I said I'd let 18yr old participate in soirée Caper-Newfie (big time drinking game ritual in November). Oh well, too late now, and it's not like they didn't participate this year. Anyway, I really hope i get this job... but i have a bad feeling about it. I'll know by next week one way or the other.

"Ah, spring. Really makes you miss winter."
I got the spring immersion boursary, which is excellent because that means I don't have to try and come up with $2000 out of thin air for April. Lovely. I still don't know about the Monitrice job, but neither does anyone else who's applied so my fingers are still crossed.
Did I mention my sister was up here visiting me last week? It was her march break so sh spent 1/2 the time with me. IT was fun, much more amusing than the last time she was up since by now I actually know what's going on and I can attempt to amuse her. So yeah, it was fun. Went shoping (and I want to go back to get pants I didn'T have time ti get before) , watched Twisted (excellent movie selon moi) and rode home on the schools bus. I guess that's all the updating I have for you.
edit: Well I went swimming, 1h of butterfly stroke, feel the burn. Yeah. Although the fact that I can last that long (cause that's like at least 60 laps in semi-olympic swimming pool) without being rempotely dead tired does let me know that I'm maybe less out of shape than I thought I was...which is surprising since I've done nothing remotely active since ohhh, september? Ouch. Well I'll probably be in pain tomorrow, but pain=gain because then my muscles have to heel. Anyway I'm sitting in the café right now listening to the Bistro taking place up stairs and the music is surprisinly wonderfully clear, so I think I'll just sit here for awhile and listen to it. mmmm, fiddle music...
