I've gotten real good at singing that there song to myself. No one else would sing it to me...well no, when i got my cake Mom, my sis, and NR sang...but the rest of the day it was just me...is that sad?
No, what's sad is that so far i have gotten 1 present. Now I'm not a material girl or anything and no one needs to buy my love...but it's nice to know your parents remembered to get you some little something to remind you they knew you were aging. Oh well. The one i did get was excellent and more that exactly what i wanted. anybody out there a Stephen King fan? Well there's this seires, The Dark Tower series, that he's been writing since the 70's and i more or less asumed he would die before the final books were written. they were published within this month. I freaked out when i found out. I've read the first 4 of 7 and i need to read these things. Anyway, the books at the store were hard cover special edition kinda things which cost $53 a piece ($35 american) before the 15%hst. so i was like no way am i ever going to be able to buy those. So anyway, Sunday rolled around and NR came over for dinner and afterwards the 2 of us took off. I opened my present from him in the car and it was book #5 of this series. I was like oh my god this is awesome (i am such a nerd) and i took the book out of the bag - only to notice that book # 6 was underneath it. I couldn't believe it. He told me he would have gotten me the 7th one too but that it was sold out when he went back to buy them. I'm kinda glad that it was sold out too, becuase he would have spent over $150 dollars on me...and that's insane when you're a student...but wow, what a gift. I really want to start reading them now but i know that if i do i won't be able to put them down and i will not study for my exams..hehe.
Anyway that was my birthday. Then yesterday me family and i went shopping and i bought myself a much needed (and yet so unnecessary since i have like 6 more unused under my bed) new journal. I also got a wicked awesome shirt. It's glorious! I love it, and it really fits nice. I won't even describe it now - i'll just take a pic sometime and post it. But wow yay. I enjoy it muchly. I also got my halloween costume at Frenchy's. It's a sleek black dress and i have to buy some long black gloves to go with it. what it's for is my rex\sidence is going to dress up as a wedding - only eveyone will be dead. I'm a bridesmaid. funny because NR is the groom and he'll be ditching the bride for the bridesmaid. haha. Anyway i'm, really looking forward to it because I think i can make it look pretty darn sexy - as long as i'm not too drunk to walk, that'll unsexyify things. Oh well. hmm, this has gotten to be a rather long post...i think i'll be finished now.

this time that was a sigh of relief. not an expression of impending doom and fear. IT,s over. I passed the paper in 20minutes before the due time. NR helped me correct it which is nice, so I've now been sitting in here helping him correct his. fun times. Now I have the computer and he's reading what I'm writing. He's also correcting my spelling. Oh well I need that.
So, class is done, have a week of school and what else? B-day time! the big 2 0 , oh yeah!...lol, it,s a sunday night so i doubt anything too exciting will happen. Meh.
Saturday proceeds sunday...oh my god..tomorrow's saturday...wow,2 days...muaaa haaa haaaa. Excellent. TL,in response to your comment, no i just haven't been posting because I'm way too lazy to go to the computer lab when i don't have too - pluss this week =stress. And i guess you could be partly right that NR is one of the reasons i don't post, but not for why you think. It's more that I'd rather spend my time with him than the internet....awwwww.
So now I go to enjoy my freedom of no paper to write (SHOWER YES!!!!) and I anticipate 6:00pm. Why? Because that's english time baby!
