So, the break has been alright so far, excluding the sleeplessness brought on by unbreathablility due to smoke inhilation. Otherwise, fine.
Christmas was different, i suppose it was alright. It seemed to me that it was a bit of a clash of traditions - as Jenny pointedout to us as The Burrell's tore their gifts open and the Gillespie's looked at us as if we were barbarian's, not giving each person a turn. Oh well, the end was the same. Opened gifts. I got everything i asked for (there's something to be said for giving people a list when they ask for one) including a Brita, pj's and food. In addition i got something i'
ve kinda always wanted = a lava lamp.
New year;'s may be similarly different. What with me being required to go with NEd's friend's (as is fun) + Natasha (as is fun) plus 2 of her friends, one of whom i dislike due to her aggravating personalaty, and another who i've never really spoken to and have no opinions about per se.

i didn`t realise i was answering those questions in a bitchy sort of wway...especially since i tended to answer questions like "what would you do if someone dropped beans on your foot" meekly. OH well, fun anyway.
btw, i finally finished my exams. I think i have accomplished my goal of getting the the Palmarès du Recteur (Dean`s list), although i don`t know if that is a sufficient goal anymore...i was looking thorugh the annuaire and found that if you keep an average of 4.0 in your programme you get "avec très grande distiction" written on your diploma. That would look pretty good wouldn`t it? Although i would settle for an "avec grande distinction" IT`s too bad i didn`t know beforehand because i could have prepared to get a 4.0 average in the program, so whether or not I can manage to get 3 A`s this semester (which is highly unlikely due to the langue ecrite ecam i wrote this morning. However if i do only get 2 A`s (with 3 A-`s) then i`ll keep aiming for the 3.8
